I just had a conversation about this. I have yet to see Galaxy, but I'd imagine that it is more of the same shallow 'member berries that populated the first movie. I don't care for the Sonic movies either, but those have actual narrative arcs and character development.

People attribute it to malice on the part of active standards observation. IMO, this not the case. The censoring entity just didn't see this as an issue. It is apathy towards racism vs the desire to "big tent" their space for differently abled white folk.

IMO, the BAFTA conversation boils down to which "special interest" deserves accomodation in this space. To me, there is no real question or discussion that needs to be had there, but IMO, this question is the brass tacks of the matter.

Along with the Kennedy era, sci-fi utopia, the fact that the lead protagonists are all "adults" is both what I love about the movie and IMO why general audiences are soft on it. Conversely, Superman 2025 having a less mature Superman was a speed bump for me, while most folks seemed to relate to that
