He's mad that Trump isn't *enough* of a Nazi, you monumentally useless buffoons

There is a subset of people in this country who are absolutely uncomfortable outside of hierarchies and have generalized this into “democracy bad” because they can’t imagine anyone having a different opinion. Just don’t understand it. And we built a system where such monsters thrive.
They want to make sure this remains evergreen
Exactly. What *if* the world was made of pudding? Brilliant hypothetical, sir.
I was wondering what was happening.
NASA isn't why the US doesn't have universal healthcare, or a social safety net. The US doesn't have those things because politicians with the power to provide them choose specifically not to (with varying levels of support from voters). Enthusiasm for human spaceflight doesn't drive that choice.
A) people are shooting the messenger here
B) his phrasing makes misinterpretation possible
C) people describing this as a unique Bluesky experience or "Twitter is better" are delusional
The Daily Caller on Threads: OPINION: We should do more than just require ID to vote. The Save Act is the least we should do. It’s rookie numbers. We should do far more. Way fewer people should be allowed to vote. Americans must meet two of three criteria to vote: 1. Be a net contributor to tax revenue 2. Own property 3. Be married with children… There’s also a graphic that says “in a fairer world 150 million Americans wouldn’t be allowed to vote.”
The mask is completely off. You can’t meet these people in the middle. We’re not working toward the same goals.
They hate America. They hate democracy. They hate freedom.
And they hate you.
Really REALLY not enjoying the Joe Kent takes that are basically "as soon as he didn't want to fight for Israel anyone they got rid of him"
Nope...nope...nope.
Dude was a virulent antisemite who quit because "the Jews got to Trump."
You absolutely do NOT have to hand it to him...
Claude cannot actually feel, it can't think, it doesn't have opinions, it isn't self aware, it doesn't have context outside the immediate window you are using it with. By asking for its comment on war crimes you are legitimizing the idea that it can be used autonomously or for war at all. Stop it.
You probably know that you can't inherently trust the things AI chatbots say, but it seems like a lot of people don't understand that also extends to things the bots say about themselves.
Another tough day for team “there’s no point in complaining about AI, just accept it.”
A beard? He barely has *skin* and half his organs are heavy metals or something. He's lucky he's alive.
The world could be such a nice place if we allowed it. It's all so goddamn unnecessary. There's no need for any of it. It's so beautiful here. It should be so cool to be alive
I promise you that the government that murdered Alex Pretti and Renee Good does not give a flying fuck about the protests in Iran.
Your art for Legend in the Mist is what first drew me to the game. It's lovely work.
the "just asking questions" to "legitimate questions about fairness in sports" to "the state doesn't have to consider us as real people" pipeline working exactly as designed.
I liked Paul Blackthorne as Harry, and Terrence Mann as Bob, even if he wasn't a skull most of the time.
I saw a commercial for the SciFi channel show about a month before it premiered and something in my 19-year-old brain said, “Magic, in a modern city?” I’d devoured half the books by the time it debuted.
Discord lied.
they’re now sending scanned IDs to persona, a third party company.
“facial scans will never leave your device” -discord lmao.
NEW: The Trump admin certainly put on a show last week about changing tactics in Minnesota after ICE agents killed Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old VA nurse.
Trump even suggested it's time for "a softer touch."
Except residents say nothing has changed. At all. www.huffpost.com/entry/ice-mi...

NEW: House Republicans Friday unveiled an amended version of their voter suppression bill that, if it became law, would gravely undermine the right to vote in the U.S. ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...
I'm not actually all that shocked to watch many of Old Twitter's most misogynistic and dogpile-happy "leftist" men all seem to be coalescing around the hot take of "harassment isn't as big a deal as this feminine labor network makes it out to be, actually"
OwlCat?
Let's do this.

So for Dems, the win is: reiterating 3 things that are already law, 1 thing that is a best practice, and 1 thing that was already a rule up until 6 months ago?
From the bottom of my heart: fuck off with this.
And they didn't even include ICE out of hospitals, healthcare facilities and daycares.
before you take any of the "Trump is pivoting/lamenting/lowering the temperature after the Pretti murder" stories too seriously, absolutely nothing has changed in Minneapolis: "an absolutely brutal day of raids and abductions" says one friend
Yeah, I'm sure body cams will do the trick.
