My wife is watching the program This is Us on TV. One of the several shows based on depicting "real life" of people. If they really wanted to show the real life of Americans wouldn't the show just be of people sitting in front of a TV for hours on end.

As a babyboomer I am grateful to having been born at a time when the USA was still believed to be just and moral. It saddens me that babies today may never have a similar feeling for their country.

My grandfather died when my dad was only thirteen years old. This baseball was in a box with mementoes of special significance to him. I believe that this baseball was a memory of dad playing catch with his father back in the 1930's.
