A great number of orange cat (named Mango) pictures scattered throughout the image. Text on it reads: "Teefathon 2. Raising funds for Mango's teeth surgery! (Again.) My poor boy! Saturday, April 18. twitch.tv/invert180"
Fundraising for Mango's x-ray/dental cleaning on my birthday this Saturday, April 18th! During Mango's annual wellness exam, the vet noted significant redness along the gumline of one of his teeth and said it may be tooth resorption. An x-ray will determine whether or not that's the case.
Your moment of calm: Rabbit contemplates eternity on a quiet morning.
(further calm: this bun sat there just observing the world, no cares in the world, for a good ten minutes)
One of my favorite parts of fiction writing is coming up with incredibly strong, willful, accomplished characters, and then making them beg for things π
[reading a book in first person] i dont remember doing any of this
Perfectly delicate and striking. π‘οΈπ₯
At this point, yes, I AM going to look directly into the sun. I will even give it a little kiss on the cheek if it wants one. No one can stop me.
Reading Robin Hobb is like strength training in that I keep thrashing and throwing the book across the room in rage only to go crawling to pick it up again. π©
This book crushed me, I cried in my car when I finished the audiobook on my way to work a few years ago π« π 10/10
worstΒ part of writing a book is that cringeΒ phase at the beginning where you have to write shit like "what if the tree is a dragon" or "libertalia in space??" and be so sincere about it. you spend a lifetime developing a bitchy inner monologue and now you have to press a pillow over her face
marketing email from Greyhound with subject line "Want a weekend adventure to brag about?"

Finding my way back to writing in 2026. Closing in on the first couple thousand words I've written in a hot minute. π
A screenshot of Willem Dafoe fearfully looking upwards.
I'm on the train, staff came by to check tickets. I'd already taken a screenshot of mine earlier to make sure I had it available if I needed to save phone battery on airplane mode, so I pulled that up. But the ticket guy SWIPED to the next screenshot on my phone, and of course it was this:
scrooge boopin' a little muppet mouse on the nose while souls text reads "MEESES CHEESED"

The worst thing about being into perfume is skin chemistry. I tried out a scent that's supposed to smell like a hot dusty lightbulb, and on me it smells like a can of olives. I'm not mad at olives, I just wanted to smell like a bulb. π‘
A little ode to last month! I associate October with many round things: pumpkins, acorns, apples, but also my cats, who become extremely round and fluffy as their fur thickens. Hereβs my little ode to the roundest month of the year π
This sentence is an absolute rollercoaster π»
High-chaos runs of Dishonored 2 in the year of our horror 2025, call it catharsis π

Do I dare????
Everything that used to go into my unhinged tweet drafts now gets said out loud to my husband π
Oh my gosh yesssss it's delicious ππ€π»
You're so welcome, happy reading!
I read Hungerstone by Kat Dunn earlier this year and really enjoyed it! Also the Graceling series by Kristen Cashore is fantastic. And The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett might be my favorite book of the year so far π I'm choc full of recommendations at any moment, always happy to chat! ππ»
I'm starting Gilmore Girls for the first time EVER and it already feels like a warm hug. Why did I miss out on this until now?! π₯Ί
I am absolutely LOVING Tiny Bookshop, however one customer just said "Six of Crows doesn't have any romance in it" and I am about to throw fists π IS THIS A JOKE TO YOU
If your argument to continue interacting with/creating AI generative art is "but it looks cool" then I regret to inform you that you have reaaaaaally bad taste.

I havenβt been this excited for a bubble to burst since I was a toddler.
I had a dream I finished the book I'm in the middle of (it started good but the middle is interminably boring) and the rush dream-me felt at being able to pick up my next book guilt-free was amazing π
