Ani feels like he's running a persistent lowgrade fever. In the wake of a flare, however, he's marble cold, then in a period of swelter before finally settling back to his usual. The exception are his aetherscars; the freshest few are almost searing, and even more sensitive than the rest.

But more than that, I love the characters who want nothing more than to be left to a quiet life. I love to peer in on Ruathyr at his tucked away forest glade, observe as he tends his gardens, bakes bread, watches the stars and occasionally plays reluctant host to local elemental spirits.

The best part of the For You feed is that occasionally it'll reach deep into the bag and pull out an old favorite. Once again, I adore Cheats. I want to gently wring some of his anxiety out.

Ani in particular is great fun because he's the closest to a would-be WoL even in Theri'a's canon. He's someone who caught Hydaelyn's eye, whose aether signature dredged up memories and made her go "oh no, not that one", and who has ultimately been invaluable support for Theri'a along the way.

I have one (1) canon WoL, Theri'a, and two cupped hands worth of OCs who've at least crossed his path but otherwise have their own storied lives to explore. They all have WoL AUs because it's a fun mental exercise, but I prefer to see how they all fit on the web of world building I've created.
