Very cute compared to the normal canada cackling they might be my favorite Branta. Also I caused a swarm of birders to descend on the crappy lake I walk to from my house. I'm like goose oppenheimer

SURELY the densely packed food above and below dams isn't the issue. Surely the fact that mass movements of anadromous fish can only happen at a snail's pace isn't an issue. we put in a fish ladder look! why are the stocks not recovered yet!

is it like performative and for the grift or is she busting out the offal and heavy cream at christmas dinner

I believe warthogs are way more of strict grass grazers than hogs and peccaries so I guess thats how they partition but like. lol. novel swine communities

Theres scimitar horned oryx basically living wild around the southwest border. Like the ones that were extinct in the wild for a hot minute. Also theres one WMA with established warthogs in addition to peccaries and feral pigs I really wonder how that works out competition wise

I'm surprised florida doesn't have any established exotic hoofstock like the blackbuck/nilgai/aoudad/et al in texas
