But to Liz’s point, any time you have a 20 minute time window to respond, you’ve already lost the SLA for anything in the 99.9+% range.

When I was the oncall, you definitely didn’t go out to anything that would keep you away from being able to respond within an hour… and more recently that response time frame has gotten even lower (20min or so iirc).

I recall leaving family holiday meals because my pager went off and I had to fix something - and that wasn’t even with a modern 4x 9s service - but because the customer SLA was x% of whatever will succeed.
