I can decide really - ‘how has crime and punishment changed over time?’ is an obvious one it I always find that at primary level there isn’t enough time to cover what I want to cover properly - I need to narrow my focus down but how?

Morning all! Does anybody have any engaging and exciting ideas for the first page of our Y6 Writing books?! Don’t want to jump straight into a unit - want the first page to be THEM on a page. 🤔

@mr-s-tiffany.bsky.social Hi there! Recently followed you on fbook after seeing a few bits of yours on a primary task design group. I’m about to start planning a unit on Crime&Punishment for Y6 - we’ve done it before but the planning is awful. It’s such a huge topic - any recs on where to start?!

In the process of making a Spotify playlist of bangers to play each morning to set the tone! So important to get this right in Year 6. ‘We’ll have an amazing year but remember - you get out of it what you put in!’

Excited to explore a new platform (thanks @missiebee.bsky.social for the recommendation - love from a fellow SATs nerd!) and make connections with fellow Upper KS2 practitioners about all things ✨learning✨!
