Musk scorned “shady” loopholes, yet offshore tax tricks likely saved Tesla hundreds of millions When Tesla released its annual report for U.S. regulators in January, the Texas-based automaker, led by the world’s richest man, reported a federal tax bill of zero dollars for 2025.

Shocking that Musk would use tax shelters to avoid paying US taxes on $TSLA profits. Freeloading immigrants strike again. Great reporting by Rueters. www.reuters.com/legal/transa...

Wearing black $ASTS merch in honor of our fallen bluebird today 😢. No fear, our @ast-science.com birds will soar again soon 🦅. Go birds!

As disappointing as this outcome was, I will not allow Blue Origin’s failure to deliver BB7 to the proper orbit to detract from my experience at the launch. Connecting with fellow investors and AST employees was fantastic. The mission continues to be vital and we will ultimately be successful.

Bluebird 7 manufactured by @ast-science.com. It is the second satellite in the full sized Bluebird design which is the largest phased array in orbit. The company needs about 25 satellites to get commercial service going in select markets. 45 is best for continuous service and 95 for complete 🌎🌍🌏

Sorry to link back to Xitter but this is a nice write up about $PCT @purecycle.bsky.social. Nice to raise awareness of the story.

Yup! That was the hotfire test which delayed things a bit. You obviously want to make sure all the engines and systems are ready to go! This will be the first relaunch of the NG booster and word is they made a number of improvements. x.com/davill/statu...

Thanks! The company has buses from Orlando to the Kennedy Space Center and then buses take us to a designated launch viewing spot. Saturday night there are meet ups at the Hyatt and Marriott by the airport.

We want to see a successful deployment but also another successful landing. That should allow for a faster deployment schedule and lower costs per satellite as NG can theoretically launch up to 8 bluebirds at a time (probably 6 before 8 to be safe).

Yes I am traveling to Cape Canaveral to see Blue Origin launch New Glenn and BlueBird#7 for $ASTS @ast-science.com! 🚀. The launch should be cool but the spiritual gathering of like minded individuals is the best part!

Rakuten deleveraging story where it was discussed in March that they would likely sell some $ASTS shares.

Rakuten deleveraging story where it was discussed in March that they would likely sell some $ASTS shares.

There were some SEC filings that Rakuten has sold ~ 5M $ASTS shares as part of a pre-arranged trading plan to sell a total of 15M shares (out of 29M in total). Interest rates in Japan have risen sharply and Rakuten accumulated lots of debt with there mobile build out.

Looking at the weekly chart $SPX is showing exactly what I thought might happen. We made new highs on a weeker RSI. Didn't quite hit the top of the weekly BB's but very close. Perhaps we get a spike up next week? I added SOME hedges today and will look to add more soon.

Objections to AST SpaceMobile’s Proposed Access to S-Band Spectrum Are Anti-Competitive,
Inconsistent with Precedent, and Should be Dismissed or Denied
ICFS File Nos. SAT-MOD-20260105-00005 & SAT-MOD-20260121-00036
April 16, 2026
• To better enable it to solve the digital divide in the United States and globally, AST
SpaceMobile filed two applications seeking access to additional S-band MSS spectrum at (1)
1980- 2025 MHz (Earth-to-space) and 2160-2200 MHz (space-to-Earth) internationally
(collectively, the “2 GHz Band”) and (2) 2020-2025 MHz (Earth-to-space) domestically. This
spectrum will provide additional capacity and throughput to enhance AST SpaceMobile’s
broadband capabilities and further ensure high-speed connectivity to consumers worldwide.
• AST SpaceMobile’s S-band applications were placed on Public Notice on February 13, 2026.
Two competitors—SpaceX and Viasat—filed petitions. SpaceX objects to both AST
SpaceMobile’s domestic and international applications; Viasat only objects to AST
SpaceMobile’s international application. No other petitions or comments were filed.
• SpaceX and Viasat suggest that their use of the 2 GHz Band is more valid than AST
SpaceMobile’s. SpaceX’s proposed acquisition of EchoStar’s spectrum assets will not confer
exclusive rights to 60 MHz of S-band MSS spectrum globally. Under ITU rules, SpaceX will
be required to coordinate with ITU-registered satellite networks with lower priority to enable
spectrum sharing. Viasat’s existing/planned use the S-band spectrum does not change the fact
that the FCC has consistently authorized satellite operations globally, regardless of other
parties’ international authorizations and subject to compliance with the laws, regulations, and
requirements of that country.

• SpaceX’s reply comments did not credibly raise any substantive objections to AST
SpaceMobile’s international 2 GHz Band application. Instead, SpaceX quibbles over the
definitions of SCS vs. MSS and erroneously suggests that a U.S. license for a particular
frequency band is a prerequisite for authority to utilize that band outside the U.S.
• Viasat’s contention, based on a decades-old Order regarding a different frequency band, that
U.S.-licensed operators must conform their operations outside the U.S. to the U.S. Table of
Frequency Allocations would disadvantage U.S.-licensed operations vis-à-vis foreign-
licensed systems (like Viasat).
• SpaceX’s arguments against AST SpaceMobile’s use of 2020-2025 MHz in the United States
are anti-competitive. SpaceX derides the same arguments in favor of granting access to the
spectrum that SpaceX itself previously raised in support of its requested MSS use of the
2020-2025 MHz band. SpaceX is seeking authority for both uplink and downlink in the US,
while arguing in response to AST SpaceMobile’s application that such operations are not
possible in the band.
• SpaceX also suggests that only it can operate in the MSS (Earth-to-space) 2020-2025 MHz
band because of the risk of harmful interference to its proposed adjacent band downlink
operations in the 2000-2020 MHz band. SpaceX’s argument relies on absurd technical
assumptions and misunderstands total users vs total number of co-frequency users in a given
instant in time. SpaceX’s argument also fails to appreciate that AST SpaceMobile has
acknowledged that it anticipates that, where warranted, it will be required to protect adjacent
users from harmful interference, whereas SpaceX has sought waiver of the rules designed to
protect actual deployed incumbent services.

New $ASTS FCC filings for an ex Parte meeting filed today. As usual, Jennifer Manner is bringing the heat 🔥with her responses to SpaceX and Viasat objections. SpaceX is blatantly anti-competitive and incredibly arrogant to boot. Viasat is just anti-competition.

Your Backpack Got Worse On Purpose In 1986, a corporation that made women's lingerie bought every backpack brand you've ever trusted.

I 100% agree with this assessment of the backpack business. As someone who helps buy hundreds of backpacks and supplies each year for low income kids I have seen the crap out there at terrible prices.

15 min chart of $TSLA showing gap fill and negative divergence.

I've said before that the market loves to fill gaps. $TSLA has just about filled a tiny gap in the chart. Love to see higher highs on a lower RSI that is overbought. Lots of open gaps below. The fundamental car biz is 💩. Looking to add more short exposure via put spreads.

I'm not surprised to see the CEO and COO selling at $BE. The stock has had a MONSTER run higher and it is only prudent to sell shares and lock in gains. It seems more likely than not that other shareholders will want to as well.

Hourly chart of $SPY showing overbought conditions.

It isn't very common for $SPY to trade well above the top of the hourly BB's. It happens, but it is not that common. RSI is cooked. This is what euphoria looks like. However even if the SoH was completely open, that is what it was BEFORE the US invaded and did all this damage.

Daily chart showing $SPY reaching overbought condition.

$SPY - This is the moment I was waiting for. SoH is theoretically open and the markets are euphoric. Adding to short exposure today. May and June expiration most likely. Will likely add over time, not just today. Ideally we see higher highs on a lower RSI and that will be an even better entry.

SpaceX paid Echostar $SATS $17B (8.5B in cash) plus $2B in interest payments for spectrum for their “direct to cell” service with TMobile. The interest costs (@7%) are likely to exceed the revenue that spectrum will enable, heaven forbid an ROI on the satellite and launch costs.

And for the record, the MONTHLY RSI of $SPY has officially crossed into overbought territory (>70) on this new ATH. I think the markets can trade higher and Friday is monthly option expiration so anything can happen. That said, I like the setup to add short exposure.

I am glad markets made a quick run to new All Time Highs instead of dragging it out for multiple weeks. Seems like we can run just a bit more but I'm beginning to load bearish positions as hedges. $SPY, $QQQ, $BE. My patience has been rewarded. Now to decide on duration and strike prices... 🤔
