In this Assassin's Creed clip, Anne first meets her future lover, Calico Jack, in Nassau.

IRL she moved to Nassau w/ her husband John Bonny, who became an informant for Woodes Rogers. Unhappy she'd met Jack & chose adventure with him instead! 🏴‍☠️

In #AssassinsCreed IV Black Flag, the game had Edward Kenway & Blackbeard meeting as privateers during Queen Anne's War; hence, their strong bond in-game.

Fact #2: In history, when Blackbeard was confronted by Lt. Maynard, "A General History of the Pyrates" records him saying:“Damnation seize my soul if I give you quarters.”
