Made the #bugonia cake for #oscars night!

I'm just missing Kokuho, which had a very limited run in theaters that I frustratingly missed. And the doc short Children No More, which isn't streaming anywhere. So I think I'm ultimately at peace with this year's failure.

Every year I set myself the goal of watching every single Oscar nominated film before the ceremony, and every year I fail.

But after watching Come See me in the Goodlight and Little Amélie today, I am at 48/50 films watched, which might just be the closest I've ever come!

I know this is a Gamedev account, but I am also a big movie nerd, which means Oscar's weekend is huge for me. So please forgive me if I go on a break from posting about Flipping Phantom to post about movies this weekend.

I do think i am particularly proud of the first couple levels of World 3 and how they teach that world's main mechanic. So I am excited for people to get to discover that one!

Just played through the #SteamNextFest demo for @apthomson.bsky.social's Titanium Court, and this might be my most anticipated game now! A nearly indescribable blend of match-3, tower defense, roguelike, and A Midsummer Night's Dream?! Also, the writing slays!

Absolutely loving the #steamnextfest demo for Box or Void by @dumengames.bsky.social ! Its a mind expanding Sokoban game in the vein of Patrick's Parabox, but with a unique perspective shifting mechanic. Also, the demo gets quite difficult!
