John Adams! The western-most of our West End schools, this is a Title I school and one of our city’s most linguistically diverse. With tight budgets and cuts, the PTA’s ability to support clubs like garden club, and other activities is more important than ever. Show them some love!

It’s Spring2Action Day and we know gas prices got us feeling queasy, but if you can find a little something to give, we’re here to uplift these West End PTAs who could make good use of your donation.

They’re getting not dead kids in return, as I understand it.

Sounds like you have found a primo spot for the next Park(ing) Day.

But only say it’s in Alexandria if it’s in the real Alexandria. Otherwise go ahead and say Fairfax County.

I don’t know anyone that’s been in Tetanus Tunnel and prefer it stay that way.

Ped/bike tunnel under Duke to Jamieson. Then it’s bike lanes all the way on Jamieson and Mill. Cut through the hotel parking lot to get on the Eisenhower trail, cut right at Tarleton Park ( train playground), another R on that gravel trail, R on S. Gordon, L on Wheeler, bike lane to PCBC.

In a stunning development, unimproved Ewald Park doesn’t even make the ballot.

What say you, ALX? More input needed?
