I love the place but it’s no more progressive than any other BL club and has the same issues as any club in an area where 20%+ support the afd. This myth seems to have taken hold in the English speaking world that Berlin = progressive = union too. Can’t say I agree.

And have seen the club deflect and ignore the issues amongst a minority of the support when it’s been raised, whilst welcoming Orban to the stadium and letting Ruhnert have time off to stand for the BSW. I’ve also seen the best of the majority of Köpenickers & unioner.
