Haha. Should be a mandatory requirement for all KO’s before 3pm

Went all in on this on AFCB and Leicester picking up points this weekend. Didn’t have Southampton doing us all a favour. What a weekend it could be

Another spectacular #NUFC performance and therefore another podcast full of joy.

Big love for Fabian Schär from me in this one. I think he can rightfully be called a club legend.

My tenth visit to Old Trafford tomorrow. Lost 8, drawn one and won one. SURELY tomorrow is the day we turn them over in the league at their place. I’m still not over what happened there in May though

Me too probably. Hope not though!!

1 year ago 0 0 0 0

It does and I think there’s more of that to come sadly. Not so much based on us (though we’re hugely vulnerable to Tonali/Isak injuries) - but the league is just like that this year. There’ll be a lot of two forward one back etc

Thought the reaction of our lads crucial in getting it done. Don’t think Taylor has even going to give a foul

NUFC Podcast: Big performance and win for Newcastle United at home to Leicester City True Faith NUFC Podcast · Episode

Lovely to do a podcast on a win *and* a performance despite Leicester making things as easy as possible for #nufc

Probably my fave part of the pod was talking about how Lewis Hall passes the eye test while his stats are insane. Special player

I kind of agree Kev - 5th should get CL this year and we have the 7th biggest wage bill. So it’s not impossible. But the 11th and 4th were obscene achievements

Probably yes, but then not playing him v W Ham a really poor decision etc

Yep well said mate. I really hope he turns it around. But we can’t keep losing to or failing to beat bad sides. It’s an underperformance

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

Yeah we’re 7th or 8th biggest wage bill. Tight league now but we’re 11th. That could change in time. However I often see the wage bill cited as a reason to accept an 8th place finish - but good managers outperform their resources. Thomas Frank being the best example probably

I think the issues are bigger - particularly against bad teams. I hope Howe finds the solutions and is appropriately backed in Jan

1 year ago 0 0 1 0

I’m questioning that he hasn’t found a solution to issues we’ve had since the 22/23 season when we drew 0 0 at home to two relegated sides. That’s a tactical issue. I don’t know if there’s anyone better out there, and I’m not saying he should be replaced. But he has to come up with the solutions

We are and have been playing like a mid table team since January 2024. Suitably we’re smack bang in the mid table and there’s lots of reasons for this. The one few wish to say out loud is that we have a mid table manager on Howe. Harsh but one season finishing fourth won’t convince me otherwise.
