Finished OATHS OF LEGACY, book two in a YA sci-fi trilogy about two guys raised on opposite sides of an empire/rebellion conflict who fall in love and have to navigate conflicting loyalties.

Plenty of space battles, a splash of politics, and some romance on the side. 4/5⭐️

Are you the right reader for THE INFINITE STATE? 👀

This blistering sci-fi epic begins at a flashpoint in the lives of a widowed party member, a disgraced investigator, and a hypersled pilot—entangled in a plot to escape the suffocating authority of a fascist state.

Out on 8/4 🚀

Weekend Reading: 04/12/26

It's been a sec since I did a reading round-up, so I have a WHOLE bunch of things to talk about! I've finished THE BURNING KINGDOMS trilogy, am possibly burning out on the TEMERAIRE books, am currently captivated by STEEL GODS by Richard Swan, and more!

This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me was so good! It's the only one of the stack I've read so far.

Hard to go wrong with Katherine Arden!

I'm torn between that and The Faith of Beasts, but I think The Last Contract is going to win by a nose!

I started a game on the complete opposite side of the spectrum over the weekend: Cyberpunk 2077. And it is good but my god my in-game phone won't stop ringing with people hitting me up with things to do. 😂
