Check out my interview with No Film School where we discuss the process for designing makeup for It’s What’s Inside, which you can watch on Netflix. It’s also been submitted for consideration for #Emmy nomination for Outstanding Contemporary Makeup!

I can 100% see them being fooled. Even I was questioning myself until I looked things up. Please be aware and watch things critically. We’re not to where it’s quick and easy to produce a whole DeepFake to fool people yet. Verify. Fact check. Confirm. 5/

The thing is though? That narration sounded legit. It had a natural cadence and flow, and sounded like a thousand other NDGT videos. I am primed to be hyper vigilant to this stuff, both the AI component and whether something is a conspiracy theory, but for someone who isn’t? 4/

The video itself was just footage of fantastical churches with bells, which also set me off because I clocked it as AI generated. A quick search brought up a Neil DeGrasse Tyson AI voice simulator, and another search showed me the Tartarian Bells thing is a whole conspiracy theory. 3/

Tonight I was shown a video, supposedly of Neil DeGrasse Tyson speaking about “Tartarian Bells.” I didn’t know initially that the bells thing is a conspiracy theory, but it all sounded a little wild, which triggered my spidey sense. I also noted he never appeared in the video - only narration. 2/

Here’s a media literacy thing. If you see a video with a narration ostensibly done by an expert, and the material seems incredible/sensational or even just the teeniest bit implausible, check the video to see if you ever see actual video of that person speaking about the subject. 1/

Life pro tip:

MAGA douchebros still don’t handle being called “weird” well.

9 times out of 10, replying to whatever attempted dig they try to hit you with with “are you okay” followed up with “no, this is just seriously weird behavior” will get them mad enough to block you first. #lifehack

We can do that without new land use though.

Three years ago, three other reporters and I ID'd and called any school accused of having litter boxes for furries.

We found one (1) in the entire country: Columbine's school district.

Cat litter was for a "go bucket," in case kids were locked in during a shooting.

Watch the 2028 Democratic primary nominations (if we make it that far) be a nightmare blunt rotation of Gavin Newsom, Fetterman, Jeffries or Schumer, and Rahm Emanuel.

Lord.

IMO any editor who uses a photo of Musk other than this one inches towards collaboration at the very least.

There are no more elections to argue over, because they will be fraudulent from here on in, not that they weren't before. There's no question as to whether or not the country is fascist any more because we ran out of runway on neoliberalism and overt fascism has taken off.

The Trump administration has placed two top security chiefs at the U.S. Agency for International Development on leave after they resisted turning over classified material in restricted areas to Elon Musk’s staffers. America, please stand with us—we are fighting to defend this country!

This is a terrible idea. I get where you are coming from, but the Red State/Blue State dichotomy is bullshit. Boycotting all products from all "Red" states would include A LOT of your allies.

Nearly 5 million people in Texas cast a ballot for Harris. Over 6 million people in California voted for Trump. Yet California is a bastion of "Blue" and Texas is deep "Red".

Many "Red" states have a huge, marginalized Black population. Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina are all over 25% Black. "Red" states Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas and Michigan all have a Black population percentage higher than the national average.

"Red" states Texas has a population that is almost 40% Hispanic. Florida, Arizona and Nevada are all north of 25%.

Yes, some Hispanic and Black voters went for Trump, but most did not, and these populations have the most to lose from a Trump administration.

"Red" states include the DEEP BLUE (and HEAVILY Black and/or Hispanic) cities of Houston, St. Louis, Kansas City, Detroit, Miami, Phoenix, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Madison, Atlanta, Charlotte, Memphis, Nashville, Louisville, Indianapolis, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and many, many more.

These are captive liberal cities fighting…

These are captive liberal cities fighting under right wing control. And you want to cut all these people off and leave them to their fates? That is insane.

And Donald Trump is from New York City! The tech billionaires ACTUALLY trying to destroy you are from California.

I get that you want to blow shit up, but if you don't learn to aim you are going have a lot of friendly fire, all while letting most of the real culprits off the hook.

The caption for the photo says "Elon Musk walks through the Capitol complex with his son on his shoulders during meetings about the 'Department of Government Efficiency' in December. Musk allies now have access to sensitive payment systems run by the Treasury Department."

Using a two-month-old photo of Musk because he's with his kid and it makes him look loving or cute is a choice by an unnamed Washington Post editor who is working on behalf of Jeff Bezos to soften the image of a fascist takeover

The Dems are actively aiding in ushering in a dictatorship.

It should be an entire No bloc.

Congress should be ground to a halt.

No one wants bipartisanship with fascists except the fucking fascists.

Dems take up all the air in the room for an opposition party and then do this.
