The average American just thinks any company can bribe the government for anything they want at any time and I see no reason why people should be dissuaded of this fact when agencies like the FCC are run by people like Brendan Carr. www.theverge.com/tech/911888/...
what do the attorney general and an iMac G3 have in common?
I just picked one of these up for the first time earlier this month. The games still hold up great.
Realistically, as nice as the Neo is compared to cheap Chromebooks, I don't see many schools jumping ship. They're not going to pass up on that $200 price for a cheap Chromebook that conveniently ties right in with the Google Workspace services they depend on.

A supply chain risk for not building autonomous weapons and mass U.S. surveillance systems RIGHT NOW. Give me a break.
Trump calls Supreme Court justices who ruled against tariffs 'disloyal' - The Hill
They don’t owe a President loyalty
This reminds me of a time a little over 10 years ago when something called the "Dragon Box", effectively a run-of-the-mill Android device preloaded with Kodi, was getting popular. I couldn't fathom how someone would buy one at the asking price. Honestly I'm less surprised this time around.
“Everyone should be allowed to carry a gun for their safety but the government can murder you in the street if you have a gun” is an incredible endpoint for the conservative moment
One of the funniest / stupidest parts of the Influencer Administration is that he’s also constantly screwing with broadcast TV policy as though everyone isn’t actually watching YouTube all day
Tell Microsoft that next.

Verge headline: Death is the Policy 2025 Year in review Photo illustration depicts RFK Jr surrounded by disease particles
Since his appointment, RFK Jr. has pursued a brutal vision of American health that several experts liken to a sort of eugenics. Kennedy has made it clear that certain deaths are acceptable or even preferable to a world where every child is vaccinated.

These updates are great. I'm super impressed with the pace things have been moving all year. Smartwatches are fun again.
Today, @lujan.senate.gov and I pressed Chairman Carr on the need for an independent FCC.
Carr said he doesn’t think the FCC is an independent agency and has now immediately removed any reference of the FCC being an “independent agency” from it's website. This is all a big scam.
LUHAN: Is the FCC an independent agency?
CARR: I think th---
L: Yes or no
C: There's a test for this in the la---
L: It's yes or no, Brendan! On your website, it simply says, man, 'the FCC is independent.' This isn't a trick question
C: The FCC is not
L: So is your website lying?
C: Possibly
We're over four years into Windows 11 and largely the only noteworthy updates are the additions of removed Windows 10 features. Maybe if Microsoft wasn't so stubbornly trying to turn it into an "agentic OS" this wouldn't be a problem. I haven't heard a single person ask for that in conversation.

It's here! So pumped to have a new Pebble on my wrist.

Getting a firmware update on a 10+ year old smartwatch is awesome. I hear it's just for time zone fixes but it's a welcome surprise nonetheless.
This is and will always be peak Windows. It's been downhill ever since.
Amazon is only reinforcing this argument by deleting negative reviews of the product. You can't make this stuff up. Shoutout to AFTVnews.

This is a $40 streaming stick that strictly runs web apps, performs worse than cheaper options, and lacks key apps and features. I feel bad for anyone who buys this over basically anything else. The regular Stick 4K routinely sells for less on sale, and Walmart's $20 Onn 4K runs circles around this.
Well, today is the (official) end of the road for Windows 10. It's had its fair share of flaws, but it really became a rock-solid OS as time went on, only for Windows 11 to walk back on that stability. I can't ever forget how much of a lifeline it was to older PC hardware. You won't see that again.
"TRUMP LOW PRICES
KAMALA HIGH PRICES"
Big thanks for this! Excited to test this out with my Pebble Time while waiting for the Pebble 2 Duo.
