ran my workshop! one of the participants was my childhood best friend's mum because chch is the size of a postage stamp haha

buying 6 knives at once at gordon harris for very normal reasons

(i did not win that bet but my flatmate came to the rescue)

hunting for shells and playing chicken with having my washing on the line on the other side of the city

got invited to the bookbinders association this morning and had a lovely time learning things... they were also doing a destash so i left with some fun craft supplies to play around with and also the grand prize

made some dumplings from scratch because i had a cabbage that needed using up... managed 39 of them, not too bad

went out in the rain to get stock for a lentil soup/daal thing i'd been admiring on tiktok and god it was worth it

finally got around to watching if i had legs i'd kick you

i look very adopted in my family, which is fun. i get more sister allegations with my girlfriend (and a girlfriend allegation with my sister on one deeply unfortunate occasion)

went to akaroa with my mum and sister in the weekend

having another deeply boring in-my0thirties moment but i'm really into this brown rice and quinoa mix ive been getting lately. maybe i need to get out more

painting my brother in law for his birthday

got really hooked on cult of the lamb for a bit

its a testament to our friendship that you did try it and i treasure that fact every day

we got to do our own spread in the travelling journal i had last so i added a bunch of my random lino cuts

i should note this is because they "know who i am" (the last time i was in there was at least two months ago)

feeling like a local celebrity because they let me into the craft section at paper tree while it was closed... alone with my paper in the roped off area...

forgot to post at the time but they came free range

got an order of vics bagels being delivered tomorrow and im unreasonably excited
