SNW has felt the closest to that sense of space is weird, wondrous, and scary. Picard’s Romulan keepers of maddening ancient knowledge felt very cosmic horror. I would absolutely love to see Starfleet’s cosmic archeology—investigating ruins of spacefaring and lost civilizations.

My mother was pregnant with and gave birth to my brother just before turning 15. She had me at 18. I feel certain pregnancy and giving birth alone wreaked havoc on her physically and mentally—not to mention the physical and mental abuse she suffered through her pregnancy with me.
My problem with protein-ified foods is they often use whey, which on account of my lactose intolerance, I cannot have. There’s protein pop tarts now. B vitamins weren’t enough?

I started reading 3 Body Problem after finally seeing the Netflix show. Starts during the cultural revolution in China…there’s definitely some abject horror going on.
