People do no let other people drown, period. Everyone has the right to live a life of safety and dignity. No one should have to drown on the world's deadliest migration route to achieve this. That's why we're operating the Sea Punk I in the Mediterranean.

We now expect to be illegally detained on 2 grounds: For ensuring 57 survivors get medical care and thereby defying Italy's orders, and for not informing Libyan militias of our rescue operation. Enough is enough, we are fed up with Italy's and the EU's deterrence. #JusticeFleet

WE MADE IT! The remaining 57 guests disembarked from #SeaWatch5 & can finally get the medical treatment they need. It's been a long & exhausting journey, escalated through Italy's power plays. At last, all 93 survivors are on safe land – no thanks to Giorgia Meloni & Piantedosi!

Full solidarity with the survivors on board of Sea-Watch 5 and their crew, being denied immediate medical care and disembarkation by Italian authorities. It's political harassment at the expense of health and human dignity of people in need. Let them disembark in Trapani NOW! #justicefleet

This involves creating conditions in which death is likely to achieve their goal of border control. Exposure to the dangers of the Mediterranean serves as a substitute for state execution, warning others seeking safety of the risks they face.

We observe daily how the EU outsources the killing of migrants through its border policies in the Mediterranean. While states used to demonstrate their power by killing citizens more overtly in the Middle Ages, they now affirm their sovereignty more subtly.

..it is up to civilians to hold up human rights and support people on the move. Because people do not let people drown.

Please consider supporting our next rotation by making a donation. It makes a difference. For someone out there it might make make the difference between living or dying.

it is due to wars which are heavily supplied by western war industry and due to climate change that people are on the move. With no legal ways of entering Europe left to people on the move, because the EU rather let's people willingly die and applies human rights selectively,...

Check your own privileges - and then act on it. No one tries to cross the meditarranean in unseaworthy boats out of nothing. It is due to power politics, colonial history and neoindustrial exploitation by western countries.

Change begins with us and what we do, how we act, speak, care for and stand up for each other. ANY DAY.

Feminist struggles are borderless. None of us is free, unless every Flinta* person is equally free.

We need to fight for change, protect Flinta* and moving forward in solidarity. Not just once a year. Protesting last Sunday and speaking up was nice, but should lead to lived action and everyday practices.

Feminist fights and solidarity with Flinta* are needed ANY DAY! Not only on March 8th! We need to keep that in mind ANY DAY. We need to be aware of the patriarchy and its power dynamics, its injustice and the violence and oppression it causes ANY DAY.

As soon as we've passed it and received all the necessary certificates, we can head out on rotation again. This is all, too, part of civil sea rescue: repairs, inspections, certificates. No ship can go out without all of that! Thanks to our hard working crew and all that support us.

And what else has been happening? A lot! We're still in dry dock in Licata with the Sea Punk I, and many hardworking hands are working daily to complete the maintenance and repairs. The mandatory inspection is coming up soon.

Europe is managing migration responsibly. Where she gets that from is beyond us.
In 2025 alone, the Missing Migrants Project recorded 1762 missing women, men and children in the Mediterranean. These are not just numbers. These are people dying from deadly routes, pushbacks, and abandonment.
