Trump is within sight of an under 30% overall approval rating.
One of the most important causes right now is to establish a media narrative and popular support behind severe punishments and consequences to our present criminals running things.
Maybe it's just me but I don't think Jeffrey Epstein's clients should be the ones to decide if Jeffrey Epstein's clients should be prosecuted.
First saw this story over on Threads, and people really, really, really did not like anyone correcting misinformation about their misreading of the story. We seem to be moving to some sort of post-reality where people just want fake stories that reinforce their beliefs.
“You like who we tell you to like, and you will stomach what we tell you to stomach. And if the country slips into fascism, it’s the fault of the people with the least power.”

One reason I dislike the phrase "lost her battle with cancer" is it misses the true battles. For too many with cancer, it's a matter of when it kills them, not if. But every time someone can fight through that pain, doom, diminishment to be the person they are, even briefly, that's a big battle won.
Your degree doesn't give you general special insight. Maybe a bit more competent on the literature.

It really does seem like we’re just accepting dystopia in alot of ways. Fundamentally anti-human behavior here.
Still thinking about JD Vance saying “if the pope wants to opine on matters of theology”
200,000 acres of Native Hawaiian land. 100 years of federal trust obligation.
Trump's move: reclassify them as a racial group, not a tribal nation. Same land. New legal category. Zero obligation.
That's not a budget cut. That's a legal erasure. #taxtherich
surely no army in military history has ever been laid low by disease, a famously uncommon problem among people living in enforced close quarters

Our time is short @SaraGonzalesTX . Mass deportations will correct this, worst of the worst won’t. If Plano, Texas, of all places, has this problem, then you can see how there are 100 million illegal aliens in our country. Commence mass deportations . @nicksortor original post: At a park in Plano, TX with my 5-year-old. We are surrounded by foreigners, speaking multiple foreign languages, making it more difficult for my son to make friends. This is my hometown. It’s unrecognizable. I want my country back.
trump's former "commander-at-large" of the border patrol greg bovino says mass deportations, not deporting "worst of the worst" will "correct" places like Plano, Texas having a diverse population
Sen. Warren calls out Trump for trying to tear down the Fed's independence — claiming he's doing so because "he wants the Fed to use monetary policies to artificially juice the economy in the short term" before the midterms.
She says Fed pick Kevin Warsh "is uniquely ill-suited for the job."
Embarrassing showing so far from Arkansas State.
gawking at the decision to pay reporters to uncover explosive, fascinating untold news stories, then put an AI summary of the comments above the details of the story, in this case speculating on the truth of the reporting.
as if a computer summarizing reader opinion is as important as the reporting
Trying to explain St Augustine to the pope, the former head of the Augustinian order, who wrote his doctoral thesis on Augustine, on his way back from celebrating mass at the Basilica of St Augustine in Annaba, Algeria, overlooking the site where Augustine lived is peak Adult Catholic Convert.
I still have two of them at home. How they've made it through so many moves in the last 35 or so years is beyond me.
This is a shitty, stupid idea that you should stop repeating

"The Trump era is what happens when you systemically under-prosecute white collar crime. There is no Donald Trump, Paul Manafort,...Steve Bannon, or Trump Org in an era where white collar crime is prosecuted with anything close to the vigor of the lowest-level drug cases in a major US city."
Not this year. They're limiting it to the schools listed this time around.
“we learned the lawyers from the other side write the judge’s filings, write her rulings. so i guess… starting to think it’s a set deal.”
i think he’s referring to the extremely normal practice of the judge asking one of the attorneys to prepare a draft of the proposed order lmao
"further than any alum of any other eligible school" is a fucking flex and I love it

Now that the Supreme Court has ordered the Trump administration to refund companies what they paid in tariffs, yet there are still tariffs in place, what's the plan? Consumers continue to fork money over to corporations who will later get another refund?
