I’ve been blown away by the encouragement and support from local SNP members.

Christina McKelvie's partner, Keith Brown, along with her sons, Lewis and Jack, are deeply saddened to announce her passing this morning at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

As your candidate for Moray my focus would be clear - speaking up for our communities; working flat out for our party; and doing my bit to grow support for independence.

I look forward to speaking with SNP members across Moray over the coming weeks as part of the selection process.

Whoever our local members choose to be our candidate for 2026 has big shoes to fill - @richardlochhead.bsky.social has served Moray and our country well and we owe him a huge debt.

I want to use my experience as a campaigner and candidate to fight and win Moray for the SNP next year.

NEW: Arrest warrants have been issued for the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defence minsiter Yoav Gallant by the International Criminal Court. The warrants are for alleged war crimes.

Another warrant has been issued for the arrest of Hamas leader Mohammed Diab Ibrahim al Masri.
