Velvet ant! A group of winless wasps. The ones in AZ are usually red and black, but they come in white, yellow, patterned etc too.

Thanks Wren! It does help that it probably had one of the easiest approaches haha

Took some liberties with the perspective of the rocks but in my defense I want to show off my rocks

Have not one but TWO bonus chuckwallas. Hadn't ever seen one wild before this trip, they're one of the biggest lizards out here, these might be juveniles. (Didn't get a great photo of the second one but see the iguana striped tail?)

Wtf does "extremism on race" even refer too. Like if it were another regime id say, yeah, the KKK and other white supremacy groups fall under this. But given everything, the fact that its under "extremism on gender" which probably just refers to some flavor of trans rights, like...im scared to guess

Little bonus off tanner trail. I passed by this spot three weeks ago, but the lighting was bad and my friend wasn't trying to stick around so I was glad to have a second chance here.

The water has a slight natural bluish tint but isn't that much bluer than surrounding bodies of water, but it's extremely high in minerals (magnesium, salt, sodium bicarbonate, other things probably) that create the white deposits, which bring out the color a lot more than if it were a darker color.

To clarify slightly: if it's like a poster or something where the text is a prominent part of the composition then yes, if it's like a random word in a text heavy comic then nah
