iPads also use an entirely different cursors system ("dynamic shapes"). I don't see anyone getting around the hardcoded limitation until Apple changes things. -w-`

This doesn't mean I intend to ignore Apple forever, but it would take much more effort just to know how to begin if it were feasible.

I'd honestly love to support MacOS, but there's no easy way to bundle or even use custom cursors in it. Apple has locked that down heavily. -w-

There is an ancient open source tool on github, "Mousecape", but it's very buggy and broken, according to users.
