Heavy metal cage in garden setting.

Our crop of green beans was cut by two thirds last year by squirrels. This year I welded together this defensive device. We will set it over the newly planted beans and leave it in place until they are well established. We are expanding our garden this year, due to possible global instability.

Using my strut spring compressor as a tire bead breaker. At last, I don't have to work up a sweat to do this job.

The arch of my headphones broke but I managed to melt two pieces of metal rod into the plastic and then do a Frankenstein style melty plastic weld. Seems to be holding fine. If it breaks again I will fix it some other way. No sense buying a new pair unless this set is completely shot.
