A couple of hours in Occlude, and what a game idea. A solitaire spin-off, where the rules of the game are hidden, to be discovered by the player each time. Occultism, conspiracies, hidden secrets, narrative weaving itself with the medium and the way we play games. Great great great so far.

Solitaire is…well, it’s solitaire. But puzzle makers like @coincidence.games, @hempuli.bsky.social, and @tributarygames.bsky.social keep returning to it. Why does this weird, old game keep inspiring so much creativity?

King of the Castle jokes aside, this is the crab hat I made and wore to the local crab festival. I was going to add more jewels, but I ran out of time.

Fun, top secret King of the Castle fact - We tried parallax backgrounds for the events before abandoning them. Meeting someone who works on Total War reminded me of this experiment.
Also if anyone else collects coins, they may notice that’s a mildly rare 50p. @spartridge.bsky.social does have the Atlantic Salmon and Roger Bannister coins, but they’re only for very, very special occasions…

Hey - there’s no plans for Over the Alps content currently. We are aiming to re-price it and bundle it up with other titles, but beyond that, we sadly cannot do more for the game.

We're pleased to say that we have both patched a security issue in Unity and fixed a bug where a small number of players had their saves corrupted.
What's even better is, the patch should fix existing broken saves as if by magic!
