And while I did go to school for biology and had to learn R, I forgot all of it, just as soon as that semester ended.

Then taught myself SQL and all manner of other different languages.

I'm convinced the computer hard drive he ref'd that melted was his brain, once the abacus stopped counting up 😬

As I sit here staring at an Excel doc that I had to split the 20+ cols of data across 2 separate worksheets, because it exceeded the 1.048M row limit of a single worksheet by 600K rows. Then by magic, I generated a sorted, unique list of values from 2 separate columns on both worksheets, in <5s 🤨

a man with a beard is standing in front of a stained glass window and says let the feast begin . Alt: Albus Dumbledore, an ancient man with long white hair and beard, and wearing a wizards cap and robes, stands in front of a stained glass window at the front of the Great Hall at Hogwarts. He is gesturing widely to all the students gathered in the hall while stating, "Let the feast begin!"

I think the only way someone could miss that connection would be that they'd never once heard the Strokes.

As soon as that guitar hit, I was all 'Ok, Lizzo! You cookin today, and I'm here to eat!'

Hyperlink text should make sense when read out of context. Screen reader users can navigate from link to link, and can listen to links in a list. When navigating this way, only the link is read. So "click here" or "read more" won't make sense.

I’m somehow on a Heritage Foundation mailing list (😂) and they sent a survey to see what we think of DOGE.

Who wants to offer some m-fing feedback?!?

Because sometimes I'd rather cheer for and uplift others, to remind myself that there are probably others out there doing the same for me. 🥰

Anywho, I just wanted to stop here for a moment to say that even though I'm feeling down about myself right now, if you should happen to need a cheerleader on your side, I want you to know that you have one in me…

like 'Rooster' from Alice in Chains, 'Not like us' from Kendrick Lamar, 'Dragula' from Rob Zombie, and 'My Shot' from the musical Hamilton, just rolling through trying to drown out that stupid voice. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is that sometimes #80HDs can be a good thing.

But as I sit here trying to gather up all my docs to prove I'm capable, I have a nagging inner monologue stuck in #ImposterSyndrome mode, repeatedly telling me I can't and won't ever be able to do this…

Fortunately, though, I also have #ADHD, so I currently have a constant stream of music…

Today I officially submitted my name for consideration 😬 to something that I was so certain, up until 4 weeks ago, that I was years away from being able to qualify for… turned out, that no, I am very qualified for it. I just needed to pass the PL600 exam… so ✅ that one off!

🚨Today is a "fight back against imposter syndrome" kinda day for me🚨

Yesterday I passed 🎉the #MicrosoftPowerPlatform #PL600 certification🎉, and 3 weeks ago I passed 🎉the #PL200🎉 (after dragging my feet on that one for almost 2.5 years).

Could have, but then again, I've just learned I need to roll with it… anyone that sees it, they can either judge, or they can get on-board, but I promise if they get on-board, they'll have more fun 😂

This has just been open on my phone, laying face up on the table, in an open workspace while I'm surrounded by a mixture of people who do/don't know me… I have no explanation to provide as to what I have going on on my phone. 😂

Don’t know who needs to hear this but you do not need to earn rest and recovery ❤️‍🩹. They are a prerequisite for your performance. So please be kind to yourself.

The Interface Is Always There - Christopher Butler If it’s not one of your five senses, it’s an interface. This might seem like a bold claim in an era obsessed with “invisible” and “UI-less”

“The next time someone talks about creating a UI-less experience, ask them: Through which of the five senses do they expect users to perceive their product? Whatever the answer, that’s their interface.“
Yup, fully agree with this
