Bring your old and new passports and a photo with QR code. They'll take your details and you go back a few weeks later to collect. You can request express service (+35€) if you want.

That's interesting. For the UK passport, you have to sign a piece of paper and submit a photo of it. Then send the passport alone. No PDF, no cover letter. And you have to mail it to UK, they mail it back.
