Are we getting Pulp Fiction-ed?
I was thinking about this yesterday when I caught up on reading. There’s def some kind of plot but I felt like it was less of a traditional structure and more of a slice of life, this is what the war was like type of story. We’ll see!

I felt bad for him, and thought it seemed weird, that he has to live in the tent so far out in the woods. But he seems to like it for the most part. I also didn't register that the officers and offices were in a fancier building, I had been picturing them all in military tents all this time.

Thinking about the perception of time in these chapters, since he talked about the soldier in white at the start of the book. I was like wait, didn’t I already read this?
