If you've, at any point, said you support trans people and our right to exist, great, now is when you put your money where your damn mouth it.
Support our fundraisers. Give us jobs. Hire trans writers. Trans artists. Defend us when we're attacked. It's not hypothetical anymore, don't be a coward.
Last night, noted library "watchdog" and serially unhinged spewer of rhetoric about librarians (& nonlibrarians like me!) being groomers was served papers at a New Jersey school board meeting during public comment.
When the person behind it shares, I'll boost their story, but it's good.
I always encourage people to go to their local school and library board meetings to fight back against the book banners who show up every month to spew hatred.
This man has gone above and beyond the call of duty in the funniest way I can imagine.
