It’s really been ideal for us. We road trip to the mountains a couple or weekends a month so a full EV wasn’t going to be practical. This really hit the sweet spot for his daily driver and allows me to keep my tiny impractical daily driver.

My husband’s daily driver is a RAV 4 PHEV. More utilitarian than luxury but it’s been great for us. The electric range covers his 50ish mile commute so he pretty much just buys gas for weekend trips.

I actually bought a new car in March and am delighted to report that it is not a Tesla.
