Here's what #AllForCITY head coach Yoann Damet had to say about the two corner kick goals conceded tonight.

Löwen is a difference maker. He came on with purpose and was rewarded almost immediately. #AllForCITY's lion is back!

No excuses for the set piece marking, or lack there of. That's the difference. #AllForCITY did so much well in the first 20' but went to sleep Roldan twice on corners. Inexplicable, unacceptable and just flat our poor.

I understand inclement weather happens and maybe there were venue limitations. But seeing many families with children walking away equally frustrated and disappointed is one way to kill excitement ahead of the tournament. Especially in non-host cities.

To show up and be told “it left town hours ago” and “planning wasn’t my department” when asked why there was no contingency plan nor notification was infuriating.

I expected better from Coca Cola and the organizers of the World Cup Trophy Tour. Shutting down in the name of safety is the right decision. However, doing it HOURS before the scheduled end and not notifying those who had tickets is inexcusable.

If you think about it he’s not that rigid. Wallem can play wide or invert. Same with Santos.

Edelman and Durkin run around and just have to balance each other. Hartel roams freely and his ST drops deep fairly often

I see lots of fluidity within the system even if his formation is set.

I'm rolling with a result that might surprise some; a 2-1 #AllForCITY win. CITY stacks up well statistically with NYCFC. It will be curious to see how Damet approaches things tactically on one of the narrowest pitches in MLS tonight. Definitely one thing to watch for tonight in New York.

St. Louis the last team drawn for hosting priority in the Rd of 16, so it'll be an away day if #AllForCITY defeats Tulsa.

Will fans value the 2027 MLS Cup Champion the same way they do other seasons? Given the vast difference in number of matches, I suspect not. But it will be interesting to see how #AllForCITY approaches it.

I know the reality is that St. Louis only has 1 point. But, I still think there is room for some level headed optimism given the performance in 3/4 of the games.

We all talked about how difficult the first stretch of opponents were based on results from 2025. But if you look at what the first four teams #AllForCITY has faced in 2026 have done in league play, it’s been more daunting than I expected.

Put the score aside. BOHFS deserve a ton of credit. They punched their ticket to the tournament with some impressive results and the represented themselves and St. Louis well. #UpTheBOHFS #USOC
