I’m glad to hear it. We just got all of those diseases when I was little. I remember standing in line with my whole family for my sugar cube when the polio vaccine first came out. Sadly, it didn’t come quickly enough for a neighbor kid who lived with leg braces and other deformities forever

That was our story - 4 kids all with measles at the same time. My dad stayed home with us because my mom was in the hospital having a baby. My dad couldn’t be there because he was exposed. My mom and new sister couldn’t come home until we all recovered. Vaccines for measles weren’t available yet.

I was around before the vaccination was available. Everyone got the measles. It was miserable. There’s nothing like a cool bath and a sock filled with oatmeal to help the itching. Get the vaccine! I’m just worried that vaccines won’t be available for anything anymore. Am I alone?
