It probably isn’t bad for dogs, the purple corn is very healthy - but I’m not certain dogs would appreciate it. And it could get very messy - that purple stains!

We definitely didn’t eat centipedes! Haha! It really is yummy - and is so silky too. Just wonderful to enjoy!

It is alcohol free. It’s basically a fresh brewed punch. But you can add a sweet red wine for a chicha morada sangri which is amazing too. Im also thinking that a little mezcal would make a ridiculous cocktail!

You boil & simmer the purple corn, pineapple skin, cloves, star anise, cinnamon, allspice pods, green apple skins, and sugar for about an hour - then you add more water and do it again. You strain off the purple liquid, then serve it like sangria, over ice with diced apple and pineapple & lime juice

It is and it smells so good in here as it simmers! Cloves, pineapple skin, star anise, cinnamon and the distinct purple corn smell.
