I'm in this boat. Was against Biden in the primary, viewed him as a stick in the mud. The level of miracles he was able to make happen turned me into more of an optimist about how government can work and how the Democrats can govern. Even now that has not changed.

But I admit, it isn't satire's fault. It was made for mass appeal, and masses want excuses to be shameless
People all over the feed are loling at this, then when anyone calls them out, suddenly they act like doing so is morally wrong and incorrect because "THIS meme out of the billions of others is the thing that'll stop the shootings forever"
There's a thin line between satire and confirmation bias.
One lousy meme isn't going to do jack except make internet sociopaths like you get upset at anyone pointing out how offensive this is to all the traumatized victims, and increase your instant gratification by framing it as morally wrong and incorrect to sympathize with the victims.
