2/5 This year was marked by loss; after Senator Bill Ramos’ unexpected passing, being appointed to the Senate was an honor and huge responsibility. We ran a challenging grassroots campaign to keep the seat and with support of family and friends, an incredible team, and community trust, we won.

Big news - I’m officially the State Senator for Washington’s 5th LD. I’m now running to retain my seat in the Nov election. Yesterday was a meaningful though bittersweet day. I was sworn in by the King County Council to fill the Senate seat, open after the tragic passing of Senator Bill Ramos. 1/3
