Reminds me of the actions of Queen Elizabeth 1 who did pay the military after they fought for her. I’ve seen residents—Vets— in skilled nursing homes who are missing limbs and bedridden. They are on Medicaid. Where are they going when the place closes. Homeless. Many are senior orphans.
