* Don't use crunch on avatars.
* AssetBundle compression is good enough.
* Use RG BC5 for normal maps, BC7 for diffuse/color.
* If your avatar is still too big, reduce your texture resolution.
* If lowering rez makes things fuzzy, re-approach implementation. Use decals or fix your UVs.

It's time to break the silence on the 1.7 release of #VNyan
We'll be launching the VTube Studio Overlay-mode!
This allows any 2d #VTuber to create amazing interactions with the Node Graph and access all the other integrations of the app
Planned release date is before Dokomi/TwitchCon EU
And if anyone ever wanna do VRchat demos for the public, I gutted out a Potato Runa that you can use.
Unbinding menus buttons from SteamVR also helps.
If doing it with kids, leave them seated. Actually even some adults are just idiots so just keep the chair.

Oh and before anyone jumps on me for introducing kids to VRChat: I'm not telling them it's VRChat.
They'll be in a private instance, alone, with a minimal avatar (just hands and eyes) and menus disabled, while I monitor them and can take over with a controller if necessary.
