Rose Mead Bottled.
Finally.
It's got an amazing taste and the process created some amazing visuals that looked like an alien atmosphere.

Until/unless I get a "real job", Eldritch 2 is what I'm working on now. I'd appreciate it if you'd give it a wishlist!
I've been documenting its development as a hobby project for the last two years over here: www.dphrygian.com/wordpress/?c...
Really good stuff. It's a good sign that despite the second pass being longer, it FELT shorter.
Undoubtedly. We're looking at the same long difficult road for us too.
Very relieved for you all. Congratulations!
Interested! (Once I find a new gig so I can afford fun things)
I think in Level5's case they under promised and overdelivered. Their game marketing was always extremely tame.
I need to finish Rogue Galaxy, I stumbled back across my notes from my last playthrough and remembered how much fucking AUDACITY Level5 had during that era.
They were doing shit on the PS2 I'm not sure we could actually do today outside of custom engines.
Oh noooooooooo
AFAIK The people they fired aren't GenAI people, they're State Machine and Behavior Tree AI people.
Hey #GameDev !
GitHub is going to let folks train on your Repos unless you specifically opt out.
I happen to think this is incredibly scummy, and we should make sure as many folks know!
Go to this link, and disable 'Allow Github to use my Data for AI model Training'

Just to be transparent. I am also looking for my next employment opportunity. If you need a Gameplay Engineer with plenty of experience across Unreal or Unity hit me up!
I also know a bunch of amazing people who just hit the market so if you are spinning up a team now is the time.
Nah. I don't touch Generative AI.
❤️
Question continues to be a magical place. It is one of the brightest spots in the entire industry and the entire collection of humanity that composed it are incredible human artists.
I will always be their biggest fan and cannot wait to see where they go next.
David is a dyed in the wool genius, he is the guy you send all the hardest problems. He led the engineering department with grace and good cheer throughout the development of the Killing Stone.

Gretchen is a powerful force for technical design and would be a potent addition to your team if you have an open slot. She is also a wonderful human being with an enormous heart.
I am a little rusty but have 5 years of experience in unity. 6 years in unreal. Can totally touch base if anyone wants to chat.
TresCom is a joy, those folks have so much care for the game, it's amazing even all these years later.
Trespasser
That Will, always breaking things.

I don't have one right now so instead you'll just need to direct me to whoever is managing the Valkyria Chronicles IP over at SEGA so I can bother them for a while.
Every team needs a "Goblin Room", a little padded cell style no judgement channel where developers can throw bursts of manic goblin energy at an idea and see if it goes anywhere with other folks.
I could not be more excited for this fart bubble to finally pop.
