Yeah it was very annoying. It actually happened to me while I was on book 4 out of 6 in the series. Luckily I already downloaded all 6 in advance.

Based on reviews people seem to like the new voice actors though.

Ah, yeah. The narrator for the audiobooks that you can find on Audible used to be Nigel Planer, that were recorded a long time ago. But now the only ones you can find there are the brand new ones that were recorded recently.

Personally I liked Planer, but he is who I started with.

I just started semi-recently myself. I started with The Watch series of books and just finished them. Really glad I did, they were awesome.

Audible just switched the books from being read by Nigel planer, to the new ones that were just made very recently. For better or worse.

Wouldn't mind Carroll or Monken.
