Amazing progress being achieved for Project Infinity! 🙌
Today, TVA and Type One signed their first commercial contracts for Project Infinity, supporting technology and manufacturing development for Infinity One and Two. This marks a step toward delivering energy to the grid.

🎉 Today, we are proud to share successful early results from our first magnet test. On March 27th, the team at our Magnet Prototype and Test Facility in Woburn, MA, successfully tested our HTS cable plate at 77K!

❄️ It's getting chilly in our magnet facility ❄️
Our magnets use high-temperature superconductors, which, contrary to the name, actually operate at fairly low temperatures above 77K (-321°F and -196°C). That's why we have complex cryogenic systems to keep our magnets cool. 🥶

The twisted shape of a stellarator needs a magnetic field that’s just as unique. We're developing non-planar magnets equipped with high-temperature superconducting (HTS) technology. The plates shown here are the structural backbone, providing the foundation for our proprietary HTS cables. 🧲
