Minor Correction: Around 9:30 or so, I commented about an entry in Vallee’s journals mentioning Chris Mellon’s involvement with “advanced aeronautics and infotainment” in 2005. I looked it up again to verify and the entry was came in 2002, by way of Dr. Kit Green.

I hope someone at the Department of Defense steps up to answer the hard questions, but the truth may be that it serves them better not to. There must be some strategic advantage in leaving the question open—for now. Is it an ELINT honeytrap for China? An open invitation? Or Rhombus 4D? 3/3 🧶
Whatever the answer is, my mind always returns to a cynical but necessary question. How will this be turned to the advantage of those who oppose transparency? It seems to me there are numerous ways this activity, if allowed to fester, can be used to control of the UAP narrative. 2/3 🧶
I remain entirely agnostic about all of it, but one wonders what the effect might be to public discourse around UAP if a large “flap” such as this one is allowed to dominate the news cycle before being announced as a training exercise (or whatever they happen to come up with). 1/3 🧶
