Parisa Hafezi @PHREUTERS X.com Israeli strikes hit hospital in Tehran, witnesses tell Reuters - Reuters 12:52PM • 3/1/26 • 20K Views
Israel targeted a Tehran hospital.
Will we be told the IRGC has a vast underground compound beneath it?
We’ll see.
just juxtaposing the idea that caring about trans people’s safety & dignity isn’t “culturally normal” with:
• 401,000 people fleeing homes
• “if the gender/sex…on the face of your current credential does not match your sex assigned at birth, you are directed to surrender your current credential”
Trans Kansan's being stripped of their licenses due to having previously - legally - changed their gender marker is absolutely shocking.
A person who misses the letter - let's they moved and forgot to have their mail forwarded - could drive to work and be arrested for driving without a license.
Establishment dems, like republicans, are among the most unrelatable and freakishly abnormal people on earth so its not surprising they would try using us as a distraction like the GOP has done for decades~"I may be a capitalist ghoul who you have nothing in common with but at least I look like you"
All Wee1 family kinase structures in the PDB get classified as inactive, except for one PKMYT1 structure which was released a few months ago (9m6p chain BBB) & looks a LOT like our predicted-active models. I thought this was really interesting. No substrate-bound structures of these kinases yet :)
The C-term. end of the activation loop where protein substrates bind is important. There's lots of structures where the act. loop looks "active" from afar (DFG-in+BLAminus+"extended") but closer examination shows the C-term. end would block substrates. Our new classification system addresses this.
So proud of this work with @rolanddunbrack.bsky.social! Did a lot of new structural bioinformatics of substrate-bound kinases and came up with updated criteria for classifying structures as active. Also made active models of all 437 human catalytic kinases, available here: dunbrack.fccc.edu/kincore
Shame on NYU Langone for ending gender-affirming care & kicking trans New Yorkers to the curb. It's a violation of their promise to treat all people equally, kindly, and respectfully — and a violation of NYC's human rights law as well. Bending the knee is bad; denying people care is even worse.
We were told to scrub "biodiversity" from our websites because of this shit.
every leftist i know is very excited about technology but unfortunately they want tech that improves society and makes people's lives easier and that's harder for wealthy prdophiles to build a trillion dollar industry bubble around
cis men and women view each other as literal different species and can't even function in society with more than ONE gender so please spare me the "gender madness" speech
for years, microsoft's AI image detection has identified my protein structures as "spaghetti"...
