Attended my city’s council meeting and made a public comment about funding abandoned PG County Capital Bikeshare projects. There’s a couple of concrete pads that were built for CaBi but have been empty for months (years??). I ❤️ micromobility and diverse transpo options #transpobingo

Then I walked to Southwest Library, a new-to-me public space that I’ve been wanting to see for a while! I rolled my purple die and then read the inside covers of 5 books on display — one I ended up putting a hold on in Libby 📚 #TranspoBINGO

Today for #TranspoBINGO I took a CaBi (non-WMATA) to CP metro, caught the yellow line (woooo every other going to Greenbelt!), then transferred to green in an underground station for relative warmth to eventually get to waterfront ✌️

Then we took the red line + green line and played the tourist at the National Art Gallery and the Air and Space Museum, where I touched a piece of the moon and stargazed to the voice of Lupita Nyong’o. Ty #TranspoBINGO for inspiring a wonderful day.

Got four more #TranspoBINGO squares throughout the day! Walking from kraken we picked up a bunch of trash blowing around! Then took the metro to Takoma where I went to Greenthinker and filled up containers with Castile soap and shampoo, which I decided counts as transporting something weird 😜

Yes, it’s such a fun space and I really enjoyed the class!! I aspire to transpo via rollerblades one day and this was a step closer to that :)

Taking the P1X with my brother to Kraken to take a rollerblading class #TranspoBINGO group play! My brother is giving a thumbs down bc we missed the P10 by seconds and also the road in front of the bus stop was completely filled with snow. But a lovely time anyways and grateful for multiple busses!

Got two #transpoBINGO squares today - took the C41 to West Hyattsville. This crosstown (C) bus runs 24 hrs, a huge improvement from pre-better bus where the F8 stopped running at 9pm. Also saw signs for P43 (PG county), D34, and D50 (downtown DC) while I was waiting/walking from U st to work!
