Hahah, I know I'm not because I know a bunch of my friends are listening, too, but some of them are less obnoxiously vocal about it :-D

With the help of the Sandy Hook families, The Onion has reached a long-awaited deal to take over InfoWars.
We've enlisted the help of @timheidecker.bsky.social, who will be InfoWars' Creative Director.
Please stand by for more.
I just know @dylanw.social is playing Reba on @slumgullion.social for meeee specifically :-D Very happy with today's set! You can find him on Hollow Earth most Mondays from 12-1, but you can also find his sets on Mixcloud at www.mixcloud.com/dee_dub/
Just started watching Wuthering Heights and NGL I absolutely thought the actress who played adult Zillah had to be related to Melanie Lynskey. I thought it *was* her but I knew that had to be too young... But wow does she look like her!
On a lighter note, I finally hung up laundry that had been sitting in my house for literal months!
On a sandwich generation note, we got to have another conversation with the 15yo about not communicating location, nearly being late to appointments she wanted me to schedule, and missing dog chores.
I've got a senior community to pick out so that I don't foist this kind of situation onto those very lovely teenagers when they are in their 40s.
There's a lot of other things I learned to avoid from watching my parents. The beneficiaries are named. My will is done. The funeral will be planned.
He wasn't even who called me to tell me my mom was dying.
He's made this bed, and I am still trying to hold the door open so he won't have to lie in it, but that door is only cracked open at this point.
I've got a family of my own to choose and relationships to build.
He chose to rarely seek out opportunities to deepen his relationships with his friends, heck, with his siblings.
He's chosen his entire adult life to only call me when he's having an emergency and needs me to fix it, and that's only happened ?once?.
He also chose to never go to therapy, despite me recommending it strongly after he threatened to divorce my mom in a fit of rage. He chose to ignore that he was part of the reason she was anxious and turned to substances that probably led to her cancer. Maybe not, I'm not a doctor.
They decided to ignore the symptoms of cognitive decline.
My dad is still stubbornly refusing to move out of his home and insists he doesn't need the level of care his doctors say he needs.
I can't yet make any decisions for him, except the ones he decides to offload to me.
But they decided to stay in my hometown instead of moving closer to either of their sets of siblings, let alone their child and grandchildren.
They decided to remain in a single family home instead of moving into a senior community.
I keep circling back to thinking about how your life is a result of the choices you make.
My parents made a lot of decisions that I hope to never replicate that have left my dad in a situation that leaves him sobbing on the phone to me because he's lonely...
Gotta say, between Artemis and Orban getting routed, this has not been that terrible a weekend in this hellscape future we live in
I've been reading X-men for close to 40 years, and The Uncanny X-Men Annual #1 by @gailsimone.bsky.social and @karnythia.bsky.social is hands down my favorite annual. What an amazing story. I love how @davidmarquez.bsky.social's cover echoes his cover for issue #1 of the series, too. 10/10
It definitely took a village. She's amazing. Went into the Navy to become a pilot, and was, for a time, but was injured and had to step back. Not sure what she does now, except runs triathlons all the time like a badass.
(if ever there were a time to share my data with your member of congress, now would be that time)
NEW: Donald Trump is underwater with registered voters in **135** GOP-held House and Senate seats. His approval is <45% in 44, including 10 senators. Should be a warning for Republicans in Congress weighing electoral cost of Trump's war and crazy tweets.

What an extremely-specific-moment-in-history photo.
i'm glad he's backing off. i'm also really sick of this shit
so, he should still be removed from office as soon as humanly possible
I'm not sure how you can be against removing this man from office right now. What will it take? A nuke being dropped? It's too late then. The purpose of impeachment and the 25th Amendment is to prevent that type of thing from happening, not just to react to it.
Two weeks for 25th Amendment or impeachment.
Now we get to do all of this again in two weeks, right?
I cannot wait until this man is out of office.
Iran has accepted terms of ceasefire, per NYT www.nytimes.com/live/2026/04...
Gen X collectively reliving Challenger, Columbia and Cold War nuclear holocaust anxiety all in the same week is a fucking lot, y'all.
I'm also listening to the definitive list of Stephen King's novels, as told by the Loser's Club podcast while I work. I mean, if I'm going to go out today, thinking about the Stephen King universe seems like a good way to go, too.
The whole president threatening to nuke an entire civilization into oblivion thing has really hampered my focus at work.
Anyway, the thing I'm doing to try to regain it is to read and reread and read again Psalm 46.
We have so little control, and I hate that for us, so... prayer's all I got.
I'm struggling so hard to focus today.
Nothing says America contains multitudes like seeing Earthrise from the moon courtesy of the same government that says it’s going to end an entire civilization in prime time
