I ported my flash party demo to my render graph editor and it works nicely. I can start prototyping quite easily now :D. I might need to add some helper node cleanup stuff because it gets spaguetti quickly, but it works! #gamedev #demoscene

More progress on my render graph editor for my demo tool. It now works :D. I can preview my graph live. I can create compute and raster passes and chain them together easily. I can also load external resources. This is connected to my timeline tool and also my music generation tool.
So this render graph editor for my demo tool is taking form, I need to add a couple of extra features and I can start using it as a tool for my demos. It's not as complete as Gigi, but it's perfect for what I need :D
For my latest demo RADIO I implemented a render graph to handle all the passes and resource management. This weekend I added a little render graph viewer to visualize how resources are read and how the graph is generated

Finally what we've been working on for a while was just shown in Unreal Fest, Physics in UEFN! Networked physics is such a hard, but interesting topic <3
It's crazy the amount of companies I interviewed a year ago that are closing down or doing mass layoffs. I feel glad I chose to stay at Nimble. I am also happy working on Epic's stuff and doing some really cool stuff for UEFN and Fortnite Creative. I also like having my name in the credits of UE5 :3
When I say: "Could you please review my changes?", I mean: "Just approve it without looking, please. We need to ship it."
I've been watching some of the latest CppCon presentations and I feel like they are missing more "industry experience" talks. To many are about the features of the language, which is not very useful for me. I also miss the good old videogame presentations.

I am actually very happy for people celebrating, I just find the image funny. Iβll probably just spend it watching home alone and playing linkβs awakening on my switch
Getting these two next weeks off work as a benefit is just perfect timing. I need the rest so much, it's been a really hard year.
