On a related note, I'm also intrigued by the potential for AI to replace traditional strategy consultants, as @jamescham.bsky.social has been talking about for as long as I can remember (even before GPT-3).

My guess is that an experienced engineer could have produced this simple, non-production quality app in about the same amount of time (an hour), but it would be at least an order of magnitude more expensive. There are clearly tradeoffs, but I wonder when the Bitter Lesson comes into play here.

I haven't played with Context Engineering or vibe coding, so it was interesting to get to watch this. I've been enjoying what @jonudell.bsky.social, @lmorchard.com, Harper Reed, and others have been saying on these topics, though.
