Is there much media that even tries? Genuinely feel like Senua is the only lead character with psychosis in all of fiction.

I imagine it must be very triggering if you have psychosis. I loved the first game, but I felt it really dragged on and on towards the end.
So far I feel the sequel is an improvement in every regard, though when it comes to gameplay it's surprisingly more stripped back than I expected.
Yall hear of this Neil Marshall film "The Descent"?
Yeah...
Using my free time to instead finish Senua's Saga.
Once again I am blown away by its beauty and immersion. Absolutely gorgeous. But it's the type of game you really have to be in the right headspace for... might actually be a more depressing and violent experience than The Last of Us Part 2 😃
Then they made the Order if the Giants DLC with the most boring and tedious puzzles imaginable and turned a 9/10 game into a 6/10 🫠
You know a game is absolutely dog water when the puzzle is easy to figure out, but SO TEDIOUS and irritating to execute that you give up anyway.
Whoever designed the puzzles in this DLC needs to be beaten with hammers🖕
I'm playing the DLC for the Indiana Jones game and I'm genuinely baffled by how noticeably shit it is. An absolute chore to get through. Baffling that this was made by the same development team as the main game.
Chloe you are tall as hell
"It's too hard to pull off, it's silly" I was would simply do it. It would become cool by nature of existing in a cool piece of media.
Superman wears red trunks over his pants and no one bats an eye. Because he owned that shit.
If I made a Legend of Zelda film I would be the only one with the strength to give Link the silly green cap.

It's the 20th of April but it feels like the 50th of April
The trailer for Metro 2039 is INCREDIBLE. This has immediately shot up to my number 1 most anticipated game.
You gotta respect the devs advertising their game by basically saying "FUCK FASCISM"
"The cost of silence, the horror of tyranny, the price of freedom." 🇺🇦

My pencil is calling out to me like the Green Goblin mask... "draw it Robert, draw him fucking a tree..." I must resist
So cool how crimes and evil are legal
The violent jump from 2019 to 2026

Not to brag but this kind of weirdness would never happen in Australia
A photo of an acrylic painting on an easel. The painting depicts the viking heroes Orvar Odd and Hjalmar kissing after the battle of Samsö. Hjalmar is laying on the ground, mortally wounded while Orvar leans over him. Based on the work of Mårten Eskil Winge from the 1800s.

I would genuinely rather kill myself than live in a world where A.I actors are commonplace and where the dead faces of beloved stars are puppeteered for fun. I would rather slit my wrists.
We already have to create block chains to navigate the gen AI ruined internet. Don't do this to cinema.
This is anti-human to the sickest, most advanced degree. Genuinely, I would rather never support the arts again if it means accepting even 1% of this into our culture.
We cannot normalise this.
That trailer of A.I Val Kilmer has radicalised me.
I don't give a fuck what his daughter approved, resurrecting dead actors so you can puppeteer them to do "new" performances is disgusting and abhorrent. SAG-AFTRA has betrayed us all if this is what they are willing to concede on.
Will be weird to see a different actor portraying Aragorn in that time period, like he's not even "young" Aragorn...
It's exactly Tolkien Gateway's thread on this that's making me sincerely doubt how any of this fits... the film timeline is so much tighter than the books
Chris Pratt as Aragorn and he drops a Mario "yahoo" at the end of every line, less enthusiastically each time
It's weird that Elijah Wood is in a movie with a recast Aragorn but there's no news of a recast Bilbo.
I am once again wondering where the fuck this film fits into the timeline???
