Overall I have been enjoying marathon so far. With some tweaks to some environmental enemies, changes to the loot pool, maybe a world event (in my opinion). I will say having a squad for this game would be a recommendation. Solo play get stale. But I would drop $40 to play marathon.

4. While I like the rook mode, currently there not much of an incentive for me to play it, when the free loadouts are there for the regular shells does what I assume rooks jobs is supposed to be.
5. The Lack of world events (currently) does make it feel a bit stale at times.

8. The NPC are very smart making you have to question to fight or just flee
9. I personally like the rook mode.
Cons:
1. The UI needs some SERIOUS work
2. The loot feels bland and doesn't really feel like it worth grabbing
3. The lack of guns and ammo in the loot pool is absurd

I agree with you. Unfortunately, companies make things as cheap as possible, while charging the consumer heighten prices for max profits. If they still work well, then the only way is to get third party replacements pads. Or see if the company also provides their own pads as well.
