My first major task for Gloomwood was getting Controller Support set up, and I pulled out all the stops! I even made sure that hybrid schemes (things like Azeron Cyborgs) work and without constant icon swapping (huge thanks to @kovaak.bsky.social for both the inspiration AND support for that).

This was not their hardest fixture by a mile. Chelsea are in a horrible spell and they are a hard watch. They probably won't even finish top 8, let alone top 6.

City need to play Brentford (H), Bournemouth (A), Everton (A) and Aston villa (H). All of them good teams fighting for a place in europe.

Gloomwood is early access but has been consistently fantastic and is an easy recommendation. Aesthetically, this game is like the greatest hits of 1998-2004, somehow evoking both the Dark Engine and the Source Engine with an art direction that feels like Bloodborne by way of Thief.

We have to add controller support to Gloomwood. The steam deck community layout is not bad but there's a few things missing.

It looks good but I found it a bit visually cluttered in places. It's sometimes hard to parse what is interactable.

The research system adds so much to Gloomwood. Beyond the experimentation and exploration that the serums and perks encourage, the process of slinking through a hostile world to dismember and collect bodies is fantastic. Limited inventory space makes each outing its own mission-
